That’s why we have a streamlined design build process that grounds your vision into reality — from our first consultative meeting through post-construction maintenance.
Pre-Construction
The first discovery meeting is an important information gathering session. We identify your goals — taking time to understand your project priorities and lifestyle. We’ll review Danzig Building Co.’s design build process to see if we’re a good fit for your custom home design.
A Danzig Building project manager will help you select a site for your new home. We’ll evaluate the site in accordance with your specific project goals, taking into account the surrounding natural landscape, the sun’s path, the unique features of the land’s surface and utility requirements. Getting to know the lay of the land is an important part of the design build process because it allows us to maximize views, conceptualize your new home’s design and plan for future expansion.
Our goal is for you to have a stunning design for your new home. We’ll show you our portfolio of custom home builds. We’ll walk you through home images of the surrounding area — including Palmetto Bluff’s particular Southern style of architecture, Belfair’s gorgeous palatial design and other uniquely designed homes throughout the Lowcountry.
Perhaps the most vital part of the home design process is homing in on your specific styles, tastes and preferences of architectural style. If your home will be located in a community with specific architectural design covenants, we ensure the style of your home is compliant.
A home isn’t complete without the finishing touches. We want to know your preferences in faucets, backsplashes, light fixtures and other accents. All of your preferred home finishes are designed to the highest quality.
When the terms and conditions are agreed upon and all of the paperwork is signed, we will meet with you to examine the project’s details and your specific requirements. This will help us set a cost-efficient budget within the scope of the contract.
In addition to Danzig team members, we work closely with a strong network of home industry professionals, including architects, engineers and interiors designers. Through this close collaboration, we identify potential areas of concerns that could take the project over budget.
You will have an opportunity to review the bids with detailed specifications that outline all aspects of the home, construction and warranty.
Construction
Post-Construction
Danzig Building Co. custom homes set the highest standards in the industry. A Danzig Building Co. representative will take a final walk-through to ensure quality control.
We provide homeowner education on the house and fixtures.
However, you deserve peace of mind after your home is constructed with a home warranty for repairs and replacements.
After your home is completed, our team is available for any services should you have a concern. You will have a dedicated point of contact with whom you can address any concerns.
